is an idyllic 17th Century retreat in the heart of the old village, just seconds from the beach. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic break in the heart of Robin Hood's Bay at any time of the year. A perfect setting for walks on the beach, visits to the local hostelries - or staying in and cooking a meal to eat by the open fire...

Relax on the south facing terrace with spectacular views over the beach and along the coastline. Enjoy a barbecue, watch the sunrise, see the moon reflected in the sea and star gaze on clear nights....

There are stunning sea views from all 3 levels - to the north past the Bay Hotel and also over the pretty pantiled rooftops of the old village - and to the south over the beach to the spectacular cliffs of Ravenscar. All the photos of views on this page were taken from Ocean View or the terrace...

Ocean View is in the left hand side of the yellow house in the photos on the top 3 floors, with a ground floor entrance on the other side of the building. It comprises:-

•  Small entrance hall with space for your shoes, coats and sunhats - or wellies and umbrellas!

•  Cosy living room with a bed settee and a sofa. On cold days, snuggle by a blazing coal fire - lots of coal in the bunker outside for you to help yourself. TV, dvd, video player - with dvds and videos to suit all tastes and ages, as well as lots of books and a selection of games

•  Well equipped Kitchen - perfect for those who want to cook and eat in, with a small dining area. The kitchen has exposed beams, a beautiful pine panelled ceiling open to the eaves and oak fitted cupboards. For the cooks - there is a gas hob, electric double oven / grill, microwave - and a dishwasher

•  Comfortable double bedroom with lots of wardrobe space - and sea views north and south

•  Luxurious bathroom on the top floor with stunning views! Large bath, shower, bidet and twin wash basins - you can relax and stretch out in the bath whilst gazing at the sea over the rooftops, or brush your teeth and look across the sea to Ravenscar!   Pine floor, original ship's timber beams from a ship that sailed before the 1680's and 2 renovated oars which were in use in a 'Bay' fishing boat for many years until 1997
